Bellway Homes are delivering new homes at Fonnereau Neighbourhood, part of the proposed Ipswich Garden Suburb. The Ipswich Garden Suburb is set to deliver 3,500 homes in the new community in north Ipswich.
Following the approval of the reserved matters applications for the core infrastructure and Phase 1 homes of the Fonnereau Development in 2023 and 2024 respectively, Bellway are pleased to bring forward a separate reserved matters application for Phase 2 of the Fonnereau Neighbourhood. This reserved matters submission follows extensive work with Ipswich Borough Council, Suffolk County Council, and Westerfield Parish Council. It is also informed by a comprehensive programme of local consultation designed to update residents and gather their feedback on the proposals for Phase 2. This process has enabled Bellway to bring forward a scheme shaped by constructive and meaningful dialogue with key local stakeholders. As a result of this positive engagement, Bellway are submitting proposals for the next phase of an attractive and well-considered community, which thoughtfully reflects the distinctive character of the Westerfield area.
